Band – 7 Salary Range £32,013 - £42,205 per annum
Full Time Post – 37.5 hours per week

This is an exciting time within the redesign of Mental Health Services locally. In order to support the service moving forward, we are looking for an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to lead the CMHT nursing team. Working with the Clinical Nurse Manager (Mental Health) you will provide day to day first line operational management support and supervision for the team of Band 5 and 6 staff within the CMHT.

You will be an experienced nurse with a strong emphasis on the delivery of recovery focussed person-centred care, utilising relevant improvement methodologies to continuously review and enhance service provision. You will have previous experience of providing clinical leadership to a team and will promote a positive team environment which supports the learning and development of others eg nursing students, professionals attached to the team, multi-professional colleagues.

Using good communication, organisational and people management skills you will be able to inspire others to also deliver high quality professional care to individuals within the service. A degree of flexibility is needed for this position in order to meet the needs of patients as well as the demands on the service.

You will maintain active clinical caseload approx 10-15% of working time, being responsible for the assessment, treatment, ongoing review and discharge of individuals with complex and enduring mental health problems.

As an experienced nurse with current NMC registration, you will possess extensive post registration experience and be able to evidence ongoing professional development.

In addition to salary, all posts qualify for a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,738 per annum (pro rata for part-time and fixed term positions).
