Radiographer/Sonographer, Medical Imaging Department (Ref:IRC16744)

Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

Fixed Term for 12 months (Secondments welcomed)

Band 7 - Salary Range £33,222- £43,471 per annum

plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,738 per annum

Relocation Assistance of up to £4000 available

An exciting maternity leave cover opportunity has arisen for a Radiographer/Sonographer to join our highly motivated and friendly Medical Imaging team, for a 12 month, fixed term period. The expected start date will be early September 2018. NHS staff wishing to apply for this post as a secondment opportunity will need to discuss with their line manager before submitting an application.

Set in the picturesque landscape of Shetland, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sonographer/Radiographer to work between ultrasound and x-ray. Ideal candidates will hold a DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (with recent practice) and a PgDip/Cert in General Medical Ultrasound. HCPC registration and the ability to undertake an on-call commitment are essential
